'Sold', it reads.
The site was vacated by the fast food retailer in 2017, and its potential for repurposing has fuelled wide-spread speculation and rumour ever since.
Some thought the new Service NSW centre would be suited to the space, but it eventually took up a much smaller position next to the Plaza Laundry.
Others have declared that the new TAFE proposed before the State Government elections will be moving in.
Besides gossipers, it's also attracted vandals over the past two years.
But after talking with LJ Hooker Commercial's Troy Mitchell who recently sold the property, alas we're still no closer to finding out who or what is coming to town.
"I've signed a confidentiality agreement," he said.
So apologies to all who are wondering, it seems we might have to wait a little longer for the new resident business to reveal itself.
