The money has been allocated from the Federal Government's Local Roads and Community Infrastructure program.
Scotts Head has also had a win with just over $20,000 from the same program going towards a pedestrian refuge and raised platform in Adin St.
Member for Cowper Pat Conaghan said the investment will mean getting shovels in the ground on local construction projects to continue jobs and economic growth.
Mr Conaghan said the funding will support local jobs, businesses and boost the economy during the post-COVID-19 recovery phase.
He said the additional funding for the Nambucca Heads project will "complement the upgrade and improvements to the Nambucca Heads library and associated halls".
"The works include landscaping and courtyard improvements, activation of the passive space underneath the existing library and shade for this cultural precinct.
The development application for the build was approved by council in December after a drawn-out community consultation process. The total cost of the project is over $3.3 million.
The Scotts Head works are earmarked to start this month with a completion date of September 2021 while the cultural precinct works will commence in May and be completed by December 2021.
"This project will complement the work done at this location under phase 1 of the LRCI program ensuring safety of school children and families in this area," Mr Conaghan said.
The Cowper MP said he will work closely with the Nambucca Shire Council to ensure these local projects get underway and support jobs and businesses as soon as possible.
