Pub With No Beer v Scotts Head at Phillip Hughes Oval
Scotts head won the toss and decided to bat on a blustery afternoon in Macksville.
The outfield was nearly as fast as the wind.
Scotts Head batsmen kept the scoreboard ticking over with as many as five getting a start but no one going on with the job to get a big score.
A couple of drop catches looked like it would cost Pub with no Beer but they just kept plugging away and after 40 overs Scotts Head finished 9/194.

A couple of good partnerships with Connor Lockyer 23 and Jai Wassens 12, had them 4/109 after 24 overs.
Costa just managed the innings from then on as partners came and went.
He had the calculations in his head and farmed the strike his way. At 9 down with still just over 40 runs required Jake Nicholas stayed with him as Costa found the boundary regularly.
