Jenni has lived in the Nambucca Valley for 45 years with her husband, children and grandchildren. Having always been interested in art Jenni has enjoyed painting and crafts since her retirement 15 years ago.
"I like to try different mediums and techniques. I have participated in many workshops, the last one being with Mignon Parker making frescoes," Jenni said.
"This appealed to me as I love to travel and have seen both the famous frescoes by Michelangelo in the Sistine Chapel and Raphael in the Vatican.
"A true fresco, meaning fresh, is painted with water based paint onto wet plaster so the paint becomes an integral part of the wall or ceiling thus making it very durable and long lasting.
"Frescoes have been found on the Greek island of Santorini dating back to 1600 BC in India to 200 BC. They tell stories which increase our knowledge of the history of the time.
"My frescoes are on a much smaller scale on tiles. In my exhibition I have included some Roman style small mosaics and a sculpture plus some copies of my favourite Maser Artists from the 19th century."
Everyone is welcome to attend the morning tea launch. The gallery is open Wednesdays to Fridays from 10am to 3 pm and Saturdays from 9.30 am to 12 noon.
