Club president, Angie Evans, said the Club was part of a network of more than 300 VIEW clubs throughout Australia and played an important role with its support of The Smith Family and their work with children needing help with their education.
The Smith Family provides long-term educational support to almost 43,000 highly disadvantaged children and young people across every state and territory.
"Through our work with The Smith Family we've been able to see first-hand the positive and lifelong impact our volunteering is making on the lives of local young people and their families," she said.
Club members volunteer for The Smith Family by holding raffles, street stalls, dinners and trading tables and other fundraising events throughout the year.
"Volunteering is such an inspiring and highly rewarding experience - whether its a few hours, a few days or ongoing volunteering, every contribution is a positive one.
"We are always looking for women to join us in and we'd encourage anyone interested to get in touch and come along to our next meeting."
Meetings are on the first Wednesday of the month at Bluegum Function Centre, Short Street Macksville from 6pm. The next one is on June 5.
