And the effort that went into creating the costumes was truly amazing.
One mother, Jules, told this journalist about the lengths she and her son Noah went to for the creation of purple gloves as part of the Riddler’s ensemble.
“The gloves were a real challenge – first we tried purple jelly, then we tried food dye, next it was beetroot juice … none of them really worked, so finally we used blue and red dyes, and even then they only came out a mild purple,” Jules said.
“We probably spent about eight hours creating all the details of his costume. The outfit itself came from the op. shop.”
