The boys were undone only by a very hot Brisbane Waters team.
The Nambucca boys are a very young team, so the school looks forward to their results in future years. Mr Hocking was extremely happy and impressed with the boys’ efforts – they went their hardest until the final bell.
Meanwhile, during week nine of Term 2, NHHS students Beau Langford and Isabella Ronan competed for North Coast in the State Touch Football competition. Beau travelled to Bateau Bay and Isabella competed at Wagga Wagga where it was a bit chilly but once the competition started, things hotted up.
Beau’s team placed fifth overall. He was a great contributor to the team, scoring many tries and making numerous touches.
Isabella had a great time, meeting new people and enjoying the competition. She also had a fantastic time learning so much to improve her game from coaches and players.
