Guardian News reported last week that three houses (two in Macksville and one in North Macksville) were searched as part of a police crackdown on drug supply in the Nambucca Valley.
Police seized a number of mobile phones, an amount of illegal drugs, drug paraphernalia, cash, suspected stolen property, firearms, fraudulent identification, and a number of other items during the searches.
Investigations are continuing with the anticipation that two women - aged 30 and 32 - and a 39-year-old man will be charged with drug-related offences.
In other police matters
A 27-year-old man wanted for two outstanding warrants was arrested in Nambucca Heads on Saturday. He is currently bail refused to appear before both Kempsey and Central Local Courts for a number of offences during the month of March.
A 30-year-old man was arrested in Macksville on Sunday for breaching an AVO. He was charged at Kempsey Police Station and bail refused to appear before Kempsey Local Court on March 15.
A 54-year-old woman was arrested in Bowraville on Thursday last week (Feb 25) for the offence of intimidation. She was charged at Macksville Police Station and was released on bail to appear before Port Macquarie Local Court on March 10.
