The new position was recently announced by Assistant Minister for Regional Development and Territories, Nola Marino and will run until 30 June 2025.

"Mr Dell will lead RDAMNC under a refreshed Charter that focuses on driving investment and local procurement opportunities, and through this, creating jobs and economic growth for our regions"

Mr Dell is the CEO of Majestic Cinemas, a business that he started 18 years ago by purchasing the Nambucca Heads Cinema with a group of partners and investors.

The business now includes cinemas in Port Macquarie, Sawtell, Nambucca Heads, Kempsey, Inverell, Singleton, The Entrance and Nambour in Qld, and employs over 100 staff.

"I am excited about taking on the position of Chair of RDAMNC and gaining a better understanding of how I can use this appointment to help improve the region." said Mr Dell

"The Mid North Coast is relatively undiscovered when it comes to major investment, and there are definite opportunities for improvements in infrastructure to help cope with the growing population.

"Encouraging innovation in existing businesses and support for those looking to start new enterprises is also an area of importance to me."

Mr Dell has over three decades of experience in financial services at senior and CEO level, including running 2 industry bodies. He was also recently appointed to the Town Centre Master Plan Sub-Committee in Port Macquarie and sits on the Board of the Port Macquarie Chamber of Commerce.
