The annual Bernard Laverty Memorial 3-man Ambrose was held at Macksville on Saturday.

Finally the course started to dry out after what seemed endless wet Saturdays.

A great field took part in what is obviously a big day for those who knew Bernard, and many people travelled to support the day.

Winners of the event were the team of Graham Vincent, John Poole and Tony Adam, who just beat out the team of Paul Donges, Tony Flint and Glenn Edwards.

Nearest the pin shots on the 4/13th hole went to: (A Grade) Allan Clarke, (B Grade) Mingo, and Neil Cuneen won the C Grade.

Other nearest the pin shots went to: (A Grade) Brad Fortescue, and no B or C Grader hit their targets.

This Saturday's event is a single Stableford sponsored by Don Forrester.

Anyone looking for a game on Saturday contact the club on 6568-1400 to put your name down on the starting sheet.

Anyone interested in the midweek comp can also turn up and enjoy a game.
