By this time of year, things start to feel a little like Groundhog Day, and the energy with which holidays began has probably dissipated.
But fear not, parents! Help is on the way. Next week there are two fun activity days planned.
Thanks to a team effort from Nambucca Valley's youth organisations, there'll be a Family Fun Day at the Macksville Pool on Tuesday (January 19). Entry will be free to the first 150 kids (Under 18), and the first 75 guardians.
There'll be a giant inflatable water park, a photo booth, barbecue lunch, and lifeguards on duty all day.
Aboriginal Community Liaison Officer Scott Mieni and the PCYC team will also be heading to the pool with a ton of games and activities.
ETC will be bringing sunscreens and bucket hats and Ready Mob will be on deck with their water truck for drinks.
The event starts at 10.30am and runs until 2.30 pm. Parental supervision will be required.
Community Transport will be running a bus to ferry people from Nambucca and Bowraville.
The bus will pick up passengers from the Bowraville Mish at 10am, then from the Phoenix bus stop at 10.10am. There'll be a pick-up at the Nambucca Plaza at 11am, the police station bus stop at 11.15am, and the roundabout bus stop (Mann Street) at 11.20am.
Drop-offs back to Bowraville will leave at 2.30pm, and back to Nambucca at 3.30pm.
Then on Wednesday (January 20), Ready Mob is hosting a Netball and Netta Clinic, and Rugby League Squad at Bowraville Central School.
A Barbecue lunch will be provided, and water and fruit will be available throughout the day.
The day starts at 10am and ends at 2pm.
