It was a credit to the green staff that the game could be played and the course was in amazing condition considering the recent weather.
Shane Langley and Allan Clarke won the Christmas hams with a fine 76 points. Shane had his best ever round to score 45 points on his own and with any help at all their score could have been enormous.
Runners-up were Michael Manning and Greg Zirkler with 72 points.
Nearest the pins on the 4/13th went to: A Grade Brad Fortescue, B Grade Don Forrester and C grade Boney. Other nearest the pins went to A Grade Tommy Trisley, B Grade Mark McPherson and C Grade again went to Boney.
The ball comp went back to Darren Pike and Steve Ellis.
Shot of the day was Dave Poole's on the par three 10th. Dave almost scored a hole-in-one and everyone on the tee thought it was going in. He did though manage his putt for a nice birdie.
