Nine community projects in the Nambucca Valley have received a share of $300,000 in funding allocated to the Oxley electorate from the NSW Government's 2020 Community Building Partnership Program.

Member for Oxley Melinda Pavey said the State Government funds would deliver much-needed improvements to local facilities.
"This is fantastic news," she said.
"This grassroots funding will directly help create a more vibrant and inclusive local community with positive social, environmental and recreational outcomes."
Successful local projects included:
- $2,500 to the Taylors Arm Hall Committee for lighting and electricity upgrades to the community recovery centre.
- $10,000 to the Nambucca Lions Club to construct a new concrete pathway
- $10,000 to Nambucca Valley Radio (2NVR) to secure power
- $22,876 to the Nambucca Heads Tennis Club to install LED lighting for the courts and a covered barbecue facility
- $20,000 to the Nambucca Valley Cricket Association to install sight screens and improve security at Phillip Hughes Oval
- $17,950 to repair and refurbish the Nambucca Senior Citizen Centre
- $9,000 to the Nambucca Valley Croquet Club to construct a footbridge between croquet courts at EJ Biffin Oval
- $13,000 for a new Inflatable Rescue Boat for the Macksville-Scotts Head Surf Lifesaving Club
- $23,250 for upgrades to the Stuarts Point Community Hall
The Community Building Partnership program has funded more than 15,000 community projects since it began in 2009.
Applications for the 2021 program open in early 2021.
