Cavalier King Charles Spaniels Charlie and Chloe have sure made a splash on their first visit to Nambucca. The pair's holiday snaps have been selected to feature in next year's Heart Foundation Walking Calendar.
Sydneysider Peter Marsden has been an avid return visitor to our piece of paradise for 35 plus years. He's often here with his family, but earlier this year he decided to bring his "besties" along to share the Nambucca magic with them too.
"I managed to take some wonderful photos of their first time on a beach, being the gorgeously pristine Shelly Beach," Peter said, not knowing that that small section of beach was a pup-free zone.
"The Heart Foundation, who I have an affiliation with, loved my snaps and have Charlie and Chloe as July's scene for their 2021 calendar."
Peter's thrilled that his pups' photos are being used to promote his favourite holiday spot, whilst supporting an organisation that's close to his own heart; Peter underwent open heart surgery only last year.
"Heart disease has a tragic impact on Australian families, taking 48 lives every day," he said.
Now Cavalier and Nambucca lovers can unite in the "fight against Australia's biggest killer" by purchasing their own copy of the calendar. Christmas is just around the corner, after all.
