Police are investigating an accident that occurred on Giinagay Way, North Macksville, on November 12 when a 22-year-old man came off his motorbike and sustained serious abrasions to his legs and buttocks.
He was taken to Coffs Harbour Health Campus by ambulance. Police are awaiting mandatory blood test results.
More motorcyclist bruises
In another motorcycle incident, a 37-year-old male rider fractured his shoulder blade after hitting the guardrail adjacent to the roundabout on Corkwood Rd, Nambucca Heads, on November 14.
Police were patrolling in the area at the time (12.30pm) and happened across the incident. The man was taken to Coffs Harbour Health Campus by ambulance. He will be issued with an infringement notice.
Arrest after alleged theft
A man was arrested on Bellwood Dr, Nambucca Heads, at 10.55pm on November 10 after police were alerted to an alleged theft earlier in the day.
The man was later charged with goods in custody and carry a cutting weapon. He was bail refused and appeared before Kempsey Local Court on November 15.
Shed destroyed by fire
Emergency services were called to a property on Congarinni Rd, Congarinni, on November 13 just after 3pm where they found a farm shed well alight.
Fire & Rescue units from Bowraville and Macksville attended as did RFS crews from Valla, North Macksville and Talarm plus a Hazmat unit.
The blaze was finally extinguished about 6pm however the shed and its contents were destroyed.
Arrest following alleged intimidation
A woman was arrested on Monday at Macksville Police Station following investigations regarding a family dispute which occurred a few days earlier.
She was released on bail and appeared before Macksville Local Court yesterday (Thursday) for an intimidation offence.
Alleged malicious damage and assault
Police arrested a man at a Missabotti residence on November 15 following a family dispute.
The man was charged at Macksville Police Station with a number of offences related to malicious damage, assault, intimidation and intimidate police. He is currently refused bail and will appear before Kempsey Local Court on November 30.
