The artist is Eugenio Martini who has had an interest in drawing and painting since childhood.
His early inspirations were Australian bark pictures. Eugenio's work often takes the form of montages consisting of many layers of naturally found objects such as the everyday rubbish discarded on streets, in gutters or in our rivers and on our beaches.
He has a deep concern for the environment and in this exhibition Eugenio will be utilising animal bones collected from road kill and micro plastics.
His works have evolved over time and have come to include abstract works in acrylics and the occasional three dimensional work.
The community is encouraged to visit the gallery during November to see Eugenio's work.
His exhibition will be launched by a morning tea on Wednesday at 10 o'clock in the Stringer Gallery. All welcome. COVID Safe arrangements will be in place for everyone.
