Spear-headed by the Youthie's coordinator, Chantelle Dimaano, the interactive program offers information, skills and tools to help young people make healthy positive decisions around substance use.
"The program educates kids about how to keep safe when making decisions around alcohol and other drug use" Chantelle said.
"It makes young people aware of their responsibilities to themselves and their friends and aims to remove the stigma about contacting emergency services if things go dreadfully wrong."
Chantelle said that for some young people, the fear of consequences might prevent them from acting to save the life of a friend.
"We really needed to address that. The program also encourages open conversations that encourage young people to stay safe and informed."
"It's portable as a pop-up site; we've taken it out to local high schools and following the workshops, have had some great conversations!"
She said the planned new Youthie website will mean the program is easily accessible online, offering a wonderful new tool to parents wanting to talk to their teenagers about drugs.
