They came away with an amazing win of 58-0.
A 2pm game time saw the girls playing in the hottest part of the day with no wind for relief - but that didn't stop this group of 16 girls one bit.
They put into action their training and it paid off big time. Working together as a big wall of defence, they were tagging machines, shutting down most of the opposition's sets within 20m.
The first try of the game was scored by Cheyenne Baker followed by Sharlett Gayden, Rhea Blair, Elle-May Keniar, Gabrielle Stadhams, Charlee Woods, Charlotte Kearney and Charlize Jones with four tries. There were also successful conversions from Charlee and Rhea.
There were a lot of close to the line tries as well, but ones that just couldn't get through defensive line.
Thanks to our league safe Chiara Blair and FAO Sandy Steven Rouse for your help today and Shonelle Blair for your pre-game warm-up help. Also to coach Jason Donovan for motivating and pushing the girls to their full potential.
Thanks to all who travelled to watch the girls play and to Orara for hosting a great game.
