There is one venue in town you can safely visit to take yourself out for a while. This is the Stringer Gallery on Ridge St, Nambucca Heads, in the Nambucca Community and Arts Centre
In the Stringer Gallery during the month of September we have an accomplished exhibition of works by our Artist of the Month, Lubasha Sleaford. She works in a variety of media and is a most experienced and talented artist.
Lubasha was born in Russia and studied in the History of Art Faculty at Ural State University. Her exhibition is entitled What a Wonderful World.
Lubasha now lives in Wirrimbi and displays her art in a number of exhibitions including our gallery in Nambucca Heads.
There will be a morning tea in the Main Hall of the NCAC on Wednesday September 2 to launch Lubasha's exhibition. All members of the public are welcome. Lubasha promises us some delicious Russian delicacies.
Arrangements have been made to ensure that visitors to the gallery and to morning tea events are safe. We are respecting social distancing and have sanitisers and contact-tracing in place.
The Stringer Gallery is on Ridge St next to the Post Office and is open Wednesdays to Fridays from 10am to 3pm and on Saturday mornings until midday.
Do call in and support your local artists.
