The shark was sighted at 11.36am today and reported in by Nambucca Heads Surf Life Saving, according to Dorsal Shark Reports.
Drone photos sent in to Guardian News by Byron Morris show the shark close to the shoreline of the popular swimming beach.
This sighting comes just two days after a husband was forced to repeatedly punch a two to three metre juvenile white that had locked onto his wife's leg while they were out surfing at Shelley Beach, Port Macquarie.
