Two women have been flown to hospital after their motorbike hit a cow at Thumb Creek today.

The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was called at 11.30am to attend to the two 21-year-olds.
It is understood the rider and pillion passenger struck a cow. The impact caused the bike to continue its trajectory into a barbed wire fence.
Both women were injured in multiple places and received cuts which needed to be treated.
Paramedics and the Helicopter Critical Care Medical Team treated both riders at the scene, before airlifting the two women to john Hunter Hospital in a stable condition.
