Another great field contested the event with a number of players returning home for the long weekend and visitors competing.
Darren Pike played the best round of his life in recording a par round to take put the medal and spoon for the best gross and nett score on the day.
Grade winners went to: A Grade Darren Pike, B Grade Clive Friedman and Steve Hosking won the C Grade.
The ball comp went back to Brian King.
Visitor Neale McPherson collected a brilliant hole-in-one on the par three second when his tee shot ran up the back of the green only to run back down off the hill onto the green and into the hole. Great shot, Neale.
This Saturday's competition will be a single stableford sponsored by Macksville Automotive Services.
Meanwhille, Saturday June 20 will be the club foursome championships which will also be a memorial event in honour of Brian Burns. Get your teams organised and play in Brian's memory. A celebration of Brian will follow the golf. A starting sheet is up in the clubhouse so get your names in or contact the club on 6568-1400 to enter.
