A number of packages are available - including free access until October 1 for unconnected low income families with school children, along with the first month free and no set-up fee for all households.
As part of NBN Co's COVID-19 Education Assistance Package, GenNext will provide free access to the 25mb/s nbn speed tier until October 1.
To be eligible, families need to have not been connected to an NBN service before March 1, have school aged children at home, and be in receipt of Family Tax Benefit A or B.
"it's a pleasure to be working with both NBN Co and our wholesale provider to help low income families get connected to the nbn," GenNext managing director Hayden Ryan said.
"We're very pleased with the assistance package announced by NBN Co, and believe it will greatly assist households to get connected and stay connected throughout this uncertainty."
NBN Co chief executive officer Stephen Rue added: "Helping households get connected and supporting Australian homes and businesses stay connected is a priority for nbn. We are confident these funding relief and assistance measures will make a difference and help internet providers support their customers."
Mr Ryan said in addition to the Education Assistance Package, GenNext was offering the first month free and free installation on all our nbn plans to all households in the Nambucca Valley.
"Whether you have an existing service with another provider that you'd like to transfer to GenNext, or if you're just getting started out with a new nbn connection, we think you'll find our friendly, local support to be refreshing. All our nbn services include free professional on-site installation - we'll connect everything and get all your devices online," he said.
"We've also been able to give free internet and phone service to a number of our existing business customers, who are experiencing hardship as a result of the recent downturn. These businesses have supported us as a start-up - and we feel that, now more than ever, it is our duty to return the favour and support them."
