Unfortunately, this year the meteor shower had to compete with the final super moon of 2020, and also an appearance by Starlink, a satellite constellation being constructed by the American company, Space X.
Josh Woods from the Mid North Coast based business JPW Photography was among the brave few who got up at the crack of dawn to capture the event.
