"We are going to acknowledge ANZAC Day at 6am on our driveways with lanterns. Adding to this we are also going to be placing something red on our letterboxes, in our windows, on our driveways, gates and fences - wherever you can!" Jenny posted to the ANZAC Day 2020 - Light Up the Dawn Facebook page.
"We encourage everyone to get involved no matter what your isolation situation is. Some examples - red balloon, ribbon, mug, cap, shirt, billiard balls, umbrella, team jerseys ... anything red.
"Red was chosen with poppies in mind.
"I am hoping this will be our version of the British clapping and the Italian singing, to get our country to celebrate together.
"Let's try make this go national. When posting your photos, use the hashtag #Lightupthedawn #ANZACSpirit."
The Light Up the Dawn Facebok page is ecouraging everyone - whether you're in an outback town or on the beautiful coastline - to share their ANZAC spirit.
At 6am on ANZAC Day (Saturday), light up the dawn by standing at the end of your driveway, on your balcony or in your living room to remember all those who have served and sacrificed. Pledge your place and stream a short commemorative service on ANZAC Day at rslanzacspirit.com.au
