Many of you, like me, will surely be struggling with the endless stream of anxiety-inducing information bombarding you from all angles.
It's hard to see the good through panic-coloured glasses. Nevertheless, I know it's out there. Because I know this community now, and I know it's made up of thousands of good people.
As you can imagine, the way we journalists are gathering local news is changing daily. It's not so easy for us to 'pound the pavement' to 'keep our finger on the pulse' at the minute.
So I'm asking you to help out, by sharing with me the good-hearted or charitable acts that lifted your spirits today - even if just for a while.
I can start if you like: There was noticeable social distancing at the supermarket yesterday and it felt weird. But at the same time, everyone I looked at gave me the biggest smile, almost as if they were trying to fill the physical void between us. I felt them trying to emote warmth and kindness and it made me happy.
Now it's your turn. Feel free to give a shout out to a local or a business that has given you cause to have faith in this community during these trying times. Or keep it anonymous, if you prefer.
I'll collate the responses and publish them at a later date.
Feel free to use the form below - you can submit anonymously if you wish to. Or email me at mel.dee@nambuccaguardian.com.au
Alternately you can add a comment on the facebook post, or message our page.
