Nambucca Marine Rescue Deputy Commander Colin Cracknell, was walking past the base with his family and noticed a small land slip from the rock wall opposite the base on Wellington Drive. While he was attempting to contact Council a much larger landslip happened before his eyes. Both Colin and another member, Barry, commenced traffic control until the Police and council workers arrived.
