The 20-year-old driver was arrested and taken to Kempsey Police Station, where she was charged with: goods suspected stolen, possession of prohibited drugs, and breach of bail.
She is currently on bail to appear before Macksville Local Court on February 27.
Accident on Wilson Rd
A single vehicle accident that occurred on Monday afternoon on Wilson Rd, Congarinni North is being investigated by police.
A 38-year-old woman was travelling west when she failed to negotiate a left hand bend. As a result her car left the road and hit a tree. She was able to free herself but sustained injuries to her legs, shoulder and abdomen; she was taken to Coffs Harbour Health Campus by ambulance.
Police are awaiting mandatory blood sample results.
Motorbike accident, Nambucca Heads
A 60-year-old rider sustained a number of injuries after his motorbike veered towards the gutter and hit the kerb on Giinagay Way, Nambucca Heads on Friday evening.
On impact the bike toppled and slid about 5-10 metres. The rider injured his left foot, right arm and ribs and was taken to Coffs Harbour Health Campus.
Police are awaiting the results of mandatory blood sample results.
Breach of bail
Police arrested a 28-year-old female driver at 10pm on Friday night after she was stopped in Nambucca St, Macksville.
Checks confirmed her licence was disqualified and she was in breach of bail conditions. She was charged at Kempsey Police Station and is currently on unconditional bail to appear before Port Macquarie Local Court today (Wednesday).
Car hits tree at Valla
On Thursday night a 26-year-old man was driving west on East West Rd, Valla when his car left the roadway and hit a tree.
He sustained a head injury and was taken to Coffs Harbour Health Campus. Police are awaiting a mandatory blood sample result.
