Woman abusing people at Nambucca Plaza

On Friday afternoon police were called to Nambucca Plaza where a 30-year-old intoxicated woman was yelling abuse at members of the public.

Upon detaining her, she became violent and assaulted the arresting officers. She was eventually handcuffed and taken to Kempsey Police Station where she assaulted more officers while in custody.

The woman was bail refused and appeared before Port Macquarie Local Court on Monday where she was sentenced to a Mental Health Assessment under Section 33 (1)(b).

On 10/2/20 about 2pm Police arrested a 41 yr old man at a Bowraville address for breaching an AVO and his bail conditions. The accused man was charged at Kempsey Police Station and is currently on bail to appear before Macksville Local Court on 20/2/20.

RBT arrest

Police stopped a vehicle on Giingay Way, Nambucca Heads on Friday evening after the 38-year-old driver attempted to avoid a stationary RBT site.

The driver was arrested following a positive RBT and underwent a breach analysis at Nambucca Heads Police Station where he returned a mid range PCA of 0.086.

His drivers licence was confiscated and he was issued a court attendance notice to appear before Macksville Local Court on March 5.

Drug arrest

A 41-year-old woman was issued a court attendance notice on February 6 after she was found to be in possession of a prohibited drug in High St, Bowraville.

The woman will appear before Macksville Local Court on March 5.
