As of 10am, February 7, a Floodwatch is still current for the Nambucca River, although rainfall is expected to ease this afternoon when the low pressure trough pushes further south.

The Bureau of Meteorology is predicting rains to steadily increase from Saturday afternoon through Sunday, which could raise the risk of flooding again.
High tides forecast on Sunday through to Tuesday may exacerbate flood conditions in low lying coastal areas.
As it currently stands, the Nambucca River is well below the point of breaching its banks from Bowraville downwards.
At Lanes Bridge the river is at the 4.1m mark - well below the point at which the new bridge would face its first true test.
The usual low-lying sections of river frontage along Wilsons Rd, near Spaldings Rd, have swelled overnight, but are still a couple of feet below the point of any minor flooding.
At Macksville the 'Bellwether' pathway under the old bridge is - not surprisingly - partially submerged.
Water levels are still rising at many points along the Nambucca River system, but it is stabilising in others and there are currently no roads affected in the Valley, according to MyRoadInfo.
In the past 24 hours, Taylors Arm, South Arm, Girralong, Thumb Creek and Bowraville have all recorded well over 100mm of rain, with Upper Missabotti recording the most at 175mm, according to the BOM rainfall charts.
By comparison, Nambucca Heads at Bellwood only received 64mm.
