Hosted by Let's Dance Rock and Roll Nambucca Heads and Nambucca Heads RSL Club there will be a weekend of dance in the club's auditorium.
Last year's event was an outstanding success with over 350 enthusiastic rock and rollers, visiting from Shepparton, Sydney, Tamworth and Newcastle to the Gold Coast.
This year will again see the display of classic cars, muscle cars, hot rods and motorbikes from 11am to 1pm on Saturday, February 15.
For anyone interested in participating, there is no need to be a member of a car or bike club, just bring your classic or muscle vehicle to the Nambucca RSL Club carpark around 10.30am and join other like-minded enthusiasts.
And then there are the other five great events for you to attend over the weekend:
Friday night, February 14, is Valentine's Day and will see the weekend kick-off with 'The Drive-Ins' - an impressive and popular local 50-60s Rock and Roll band. Music and dancing from at 7-11pm.
Saturday night features 'Dance On', a fabulous Gold Coast 50s-60s Rock and Roll band with music commencing at 7.30pm ... and is already sold out!
Come and participate in a 'Rock and Roll/Partner Dance Workshop', Let's Dance Rock and Roll will treat you to one and a half hours of their expertise on Sunday morning from 11am, giving you a medium level rock 'n roll move and a new partner dance.
Just rock up to this event ... lessons are for all levels and abilities, so come along and try an activity that is a lot of fun, not to mention good for the body and mind.
Sunday afternoon from 1-4pm will round out the weekend with 'John Curtin', our most favourite and talented local one-man entertainer. No bookings needed.
Entry is free to everything except Saturday night, thanks to support from the Nambucca RSL Club and the Nambucca Let's Dance Rock and Roll Social Club.
