New K1 teacher, Mrs Sonia Hazelwood, welcomed some nervous Kindies and some anxious parents.
It didn't take long for the little ones to settle in and feel at home at 'big school'.
Other first timers included some confident Year 7's entering High School and Year 11 students who took to their new roles as seniors with pride and maturity.
Bowraville Central School has also welcomed a number of new staff members who, along with existing staff, have wasted no time in launching directly into another exciting year of education.
