Coffs Harbour is set to play host to another AFL club as the Essendon Bombers announce that they will hold their pre-season training camp in town.

Beginning on Sunday January 19 and ending on Thursday January 23, the camp will provide an opportunity for players to gain invaluable practice as preparations ramp up for the 2020 AFL season.

The team will undertake a mixture of training tasks from beach circuits to skills sessions, as well as team-bonding activities whilst in town.

A major highlight of the trip will be an opportunity for local footy fans to watch and interact with the players at Monday's open training session, which will conclude with autograph signing.

The open session will be held on Monday January 20 at 9am at the Coffs Coast Sport and Leisure Park.
