Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions on the Pacific Highway at Macksville for road surface repairs to be carried out at the Bald Hill Road interchange.

To minimise impacts to traffic, work will be carried out overnight from 5pm Saturday, January 18 to 6am Sunday, January 19, weather permitting.

During this time access to the Pacific Highway will be closed to traffic from the western roundabout (Giinagay Way) at the Bald Hill Road interchange.

Bald Hill Road will be open to local traffic only.

Motorists travelling north on Giinagay Way will detour to the north of Macksville to join the Pacific Highway at Old Coast Road.

Motorists travelling south from Macksville on Giinagay Way will be able to join the Pacific Highway at Upper Warrell Creek.

Traffic control and reduced speed limits will be in place for the safety of workers and motorists.

Motorists may experience delays of up to five minutes and are advised to drive to the conditions, and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.

Transport for NSW thanks motorists for their patience during this time.
