Named in honour of the late great cricket Test batsman who never forgot Macksville was home, the carnival meeting has traditionally been an event where current and returning residents get-together to reflect on the special joy of living in the Nambucca Valley.

Last year's event was spectacular with great weather, strong fields and a bumper crowd.
The Jockey Club is pleased to advise that, this year, in spite of the dry conditions, the track is still in excellent condition and the whole of the racecourse area is as picturesque as has been seen for many a year.
Will you be there?
