The packages are destined for those who have been affected by the recent fires in the hopes that everyone can still have a little Christmas cheer.
Moira Hodgekiss is in the business of delivering unconditional love to those doing it tough.
Each year around Christmas Moira rallies teams of volunteers from iCare, an initiative of the Macleay Valley Coast Christian Outreach Church, to deliver hampers full of food, clothing and personal items to those who need the love the most.
Moira has been one of the main drivers behind ensuring the survivors of the bushfires in the area have enough to eat and clean undies to wear. She has been in regular contact with Helen Reibel to check if there's been anyone left wanting for anything.
But these hampers are not about the bare necessities. This is about bringing joy. And there are more than a few families in need of some of that right now.
If you, or someone you know who has been affected by the fires could do with a little extra love this Christmas, please get in touch with the team at the Macksville Ex-Services Club on 6568 1344.
