The tours will be conducted by Trevor Lynch - a Nambucca Valley local who joined the Australian Army in 1980 and is currently posted to Defence Force headquarters in Canberra.
Trevor has had six overseas deployments and operational postings, including East Timor and Afghanistan.
He is a volunteer guide at the Australian War Memorial and author of Nambucca ANZACs - a history of service by valley residents in WWI.
Trevor is also a patron of Frank Partridge VC Military Museum.
"This is an excellent opportunity for residents and visitors to be given an informative and enlightening tour of the museum's extensive range of military memorabilia, artifacts, weapons and restored vehicles and items of armament, by an experienced guide with an intimate knowledge of Australia's war history," museum president Blew Maning said.
Inquiries regarding the free tours can be made by contacting the museum on 6564-7056 or email to enquiries@militarymuseum.org.au
