Thursday saw 90 golfers playing in three divisions in a Medley Single Stableford sponsored by the club. Division 1 winner was Stuart Johnston (7 handicap) with 41 points, the best score of the day.
Drew Glasson (8) was runner-up with 35 points. Division 2 was won by Anthony McPherson (16) visiting from The Coast with 39 points, with Urpo Ylinen (15) runner-up on 37 points.
Leslie Mohr (21) won Division 3 with 38 points with Colin Dunne (22) runner-up on 37 points.
The nearest the pins were won by Ray Baker on 2, Barry Smith on 5, Geoff Harvey on 7, Chris Swan on 8, Tony McPherson on 13, and Murray Ingram on 15. Kel McGoldrick was the best shot to 18 to win the Pro Pin jackpot. You needed 33 points in the ball rundown to collect.
Saturday was the Men's Monthly Medal sponsored by Nambucca Local Liquor, with 95 players competing in three grades. The best round of the day went to Stephen Carr (5) who parred the course with his nett 64 to win A Grade from Garnet O'Brien (8) with 68 net.
Scratch winner was Bruce Berry with 75. In B Grade, John Nebauer (14) had a nett 68, with Darren Key (14) a nett 70. Scratch winner was David Mattacott with 88 on countback.
C Grade was won by Ronald Cook (28) with nett 65 on countback from Neil Duffus (19). Scratch winner was Robert Reid with 88.
Nearest the pins went to Andrew Bagust on 2, Geoff McCann on 5, Dennis Ashton on 7, Seaton Jones (Newcastle) on 8, Ian McHugh (Berri) on 13, Phil Kemp (Berri) on 15, and Peter Dawe was closest to the hole and took out the Pro Pin jackpot on 18.

This week will see Medley Single Stablefords on Thursday and Saturday with an easy nine-hole Chook Run on Friday.
On Sunday, Lyn Grose and Steve Ward (Pizza This, Pizza That) will sponsor the closing Mixed 4BBB Stableford event, with Santa making an appearance. This is a popular open day, and visitors are invited to come along and enjoy the course which is back in pristine condition. Golfers are requested to bring a 'unisex' gift to the value $10 for Santa to distribute.
