Everyone who knows her already knew there was something extraordinary about Nambucca Valley Physie Club's Charlotte Mobbs.
But now the rest of NSW knows it too.
Five-year-old Charlotte was recently awarded the title of State Champion of her age group at the Edith Parsons School of Physical Culture Grand Finals, held onstage at the prestigious Sydney Town Hall on Sunday, November 24.
The top 12 girls of each age division were selected to compete in the Grand Finals.
Charlotte competed in the '5 Year' section and was a standout among the other competitors - so much so that she was also awarded the State Dance Award for her age division.
Proudly, three other members from the club were awarded placings in their age division: Mia Harding - 4th (15 Year), Lily Kelsey - 5th (12 Year), Tayja Steele - 6th (8 Year).
Nambucca Valley Physie Club had a total of 21 members selected from the North Coast Zone Championships to compete in the State Finals.
Ten girls were then chosen to compete in the Grand Finals.
The other Grand Finalists were - Charlotte Rowlings (7 Year), Gabriella Mobbs (7 Year), Annaliese Holladay (10 Year), Briana Winchester ( 13 Year), Aleisya McLeod (13 Year), and Mia Kelsey (15 Year).
The girls who competed in the State Finals were - Charlie Fuller, Chloe Summerville, Charlotte Ward, Lyla Kelly, Montana Ward, Elle Holladay, Aziah Steele, Zali Kelly, Maddison Aladjadjian, Lateika Smith and Casey Symonds.
After a huge finish to the year, girls and ladies are now enjoying a well-earned break.
Classes are set to resume Wednesday, February 8, at the Nambucca Community and Arts Centre.
