The orchestra performs regularly during the year at functions, regional concerts and music festivals.
Music director Gavin Staines OAM has been directing the band for almost 30 years, since 1980.
Every year the band tours the North Coast of NSW, culminating with a performance in the Concert Hall of the Sydney Opera House. Well loved music with one or two Christmas carols will be performed.
The Valla Voices will also perform under the direction of Bonnie Jarman.
Tickets are $15 for NVAC members, $20 for non-members while children under 15 will have free entry. Tickets can be purchased at Hello World in Nambucca or at the door. Afternoon tea is included.
