The station was set up to provide emergency stock feed for bushfire affected landholders in the Macksville area.
Local Land Services and the NSW Department of Primary Industries are on the ground providing assistance to landholders who have been impacted by the fires in NSW through the Agriculture and Animal Services Functional Area (AASFA).
The Macksville Showground fodder distribution station is open daily from 8am to 4pm, until the site closes tomorrow as attention turns to the recovery phase of the disaster.
Fodder from Macksville Showground will be relocated to Kempsey Showground and will continue to be available to bushfire affected farmers.
If you still need emergency fodder for your livestock and have not yet received an emergency fodder ration, call the Agriculture and Animal Services Hotline on 1800 814-647 to register.
Requests will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
