The hardest hit area was Yaranbella, where 29 homes were destroyed. Next was South Arm with 27, then Talarm 2, Utungun 2 and Congarinni North 1 (these figures include Taylors Arm and Burrapine).
As well as this the shire's Local Emergency Management Officer, Paul Gallagher, said 134 outbuildings had been destroyed and another 18 homes damaged.
Affected residents are encouraged to register at the Recovery Information Centre in the Senior Citizens Centre, Princess St, Macksville - the centre is open all this week between 9am and 3pm.
BlazeAid has also set up at the Macksville Showground to assist landholders with their fences.
