The fire is burning in an easterly direction towards Warrell Creek.
Firefighters continue working to protect properties that come under threat in the area.
A number of local roads may be closed or blocked due to falling trees.
South Arm Road is closed to the west, from the Williams Hill Road intersection.
Advice
If you are in the area of Congarinni and Warrell Creek Road and your plan is to leave, or you are not prepared, leave now towards Macksville.
If you are in the area of Bowraville, Congarinni North, Argents Hill, Buckra Bendinni, South Arm and McHughs Creek Valleys, watch out for smoke and embers.

Evacuation Centres and School Closures
- An evacuation centre open overnight on Sunday 10 November is at Anglican Church Bowraville - Young Street, Bowraville.
- People are encouraged to register online at Register Find Reunite before attending evacuation centres.
