The fire has breached containment lines due to strong winds and is moving towards South Arm and McHughs Creek.
The Fire Control Centre said the fire is behaving erratically and spreading quickly.
An Emergency Warning is the highest level of bush fire alert. You may be in danger and need to take action immediately. Any delay now puts your life at risk
Meanwhile the Fortescue Creek fire continues to spread in multiple directions and is also at Emergency Warning level.
South Arm Road is closed to the west, from the Williams Hill Road intersection.
