In conjunction with Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the local community has been adorned all shades of pink at a variety of events held across the town to help raise funds for McGrath Foundation breast care nurses.
Member of the Pink Up Macksville team Joy Sheather said they had been overwhelmed with the enthusiasm and positivity around the concept.
"It's amazing the amount of people who have said Macksville has been waiting for something like this," she said.
"It's really something that has involved the whole community and shown what a caring and compassionate town we live in."
Macksville has hosted a variety of events in the lead up to tomorrow's grand finale - a gala day on the river bank from 9am to 5pm.
McGrath Foundation breast care nurse Carolyn Cross, who is based at Macksville, said the community was proud to be taking part in the worthy cause.
"There have been so many exciting activities throughout October from street stalls, fashion parades and a high tea, to a cattle sale and cocktail night and our much-anticipated gala day," she said.
McGrath Foundation breast care nurses are specially trained to manage the care of people with breast cancer throughout the course of their treatment. They offer vital emotional support for breast cancer patients and their families.
