The 16-year-old finished with silver in Saturday's sprint final, after qualifying for the finals in third.
On Friday, McCaig won silver in the kierin after a video review was needed to separate the top two riders.
Riding in her first overseas and first senior events, the Bendigo and District Cycling Club rider started the championships in a blaze of glory with back-to-back gold medals in the team time trial and 500m time-trial on Wednesday and Thursday respectively.
Riding for Australia, McCaig and New South Wales rider Kalinda Robinson set a new championship record in the 500m team time trial of 35.249, defeating New Zealand in the final.
The Victorian Institute of Sport scholarship holder's focus will now switch to the Austral Wheelrace event in Melbourne in December and attempting to qualify for next year's senior nationals.
McCaig will ride in the senior women's division of the Austral, after winning gold at the past two events in the junior division.
The Oceania championships were staged in Invercargill.
