There was certainly no room to be shy, with people standing shoulder to shoulder knocking back vino and animatedly discussing the creativity on display.
An impressive 140 artists entered the over-400 works of art hanging in the Nambucca Community and Arts Centre - a testament, as Councillor Susan Jenvey pointed out in her opening address, to the growing acclaim of the prestigious two-yearly art show, and art generally in the region.
The show will be open until Saturday, October 5, 9.30am to 4.30pm with a final chance to visit on Sunday, October 6 until 1pm. Entry is $3, children free.
Congratulations to all the winners, and to everyone who helped put on a spectacular evening.
