So buckle up for the school holidays and the annual Coffs Harbour International Buskers and Comedy Festival.
It will be held over six days - October 1 to 6 - and this long running and much loved event boasts a line-up of unique, wild, wacky and downright weird acts from around the world and all over Australia.
This year will mark the 19th time the city has played host to this iconic event.
One of the most popular days of the program is without doubt 'KIDS DAY', featuring a program of youngster-friendly shows to be held on Wednesday October 2 at Park Beach Reserve. This is a ticketed event with tickets on sale via the festival website (www.coffsharbourbuskers.com).
This event is a cheap day out for families, as it is the only time during the festival the buskers do not offer their hat to the audience. The program features rides, slides, buskers, a replica life size Batmobile, a world champion skipper and more with activity from 10am-2.30pm. Once admission is paid, all the entertainment inside is free.
On the Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights at the Pier Hotel at Coffs Jetty, the festival will see three nights of adults-only comedy. Hosted by the festival's all time favorite funnyman Lindsay Webb, he will be joined by an international cast of comedians and buskers with a different line-up each night.
While there is no cover charge, performers will ask for a show 'hat' donation each night.
Coffs CBD will also host daily shows from the Wednesday to the Saturday in the newly refurbished city square (outside the St George Bank).
The world famous and somewhat scary Gargoyle will kick off Wednesday to Friday at 9am so be early to catch this unique show.
On the Friday night, the festival heads to the Twilight Food Market, while on the Saturday Moonee Tavern will host an evening show. On the Sunday the festival will head to the Harbourside Markets at the Jetty with a Shannons Show N Shine.
The artist line-up includes the Unicycling Unicorn and Leapin' Louie Lichenstein, both from the USA. Melon The Human returns to Australia after a stint with Cirque De Soleil, while Bendy Em and Pandroa Pink, both from the UK, Gargoyle from NZ, and Mr Balloon from Chile will bring their talents.
Also set to wow are Floor LegendZ, who have members from Germany, NZ, Syria and Australia.
