Nambucca Heads Public School presents Once Upon A Time In Hollywood musical | review

There was a visual and audio feast served up at the Red School's 2019 musical 'Once Upon A Time In Hollywood'.

There was so much packed into the song and dance extravaganza that it's probably easier to list what wasn't included.

Students creatively explored what the next installment of the 'Back To The Future' franchise might look like; audiences were catapulted from the 80s to ancient Egypt to the Jurassic era, and then propelled forward at the speed of light to the 24th Century with Captain Kirk and "Klingons on the starboard bow".

The music, too, led us on a sonic journey through the ages.

Blacklights, glowsticks, animation, killer costumes and epic dance moves rounded up the spectacle in an evening that will surely go down in the history books.

Five stars.
