A stolen excavator and caravan are amongst 58 items recovered during a search warrant at a Yarranbella residence as part of an investigation into a fraud syndicate.
In May 2019, detectives from the State Crime Command's Financial Crimes Squad established Strike Force Forth to investigate the acquisition and use of fraudulent credit cards across the Central Coast.
As part of the investigation, detectives also made inquiries into a break-in at a car dealership at Kariong on March 24, which was suspected to be linked to the syndicate.
During the break-in, three high-powered Holden Commodores were allegedly stolen by three unknown persons.
Earlier this week, a 45-year-old man was arrested and charged at Woy Woy. He remains before the courts.
Early Thursday morning, following further inquiries, detectives executed a search warrant at a rural property at Yarranbella, 20km west of Macksville.
During the search, police located property allegedly purchased with fraudulent credit cards, a stolen caravan, a stolen excavator and attachments, a large amount of property allegedly stolen from industrial sites on the Central Coast, a stolen motor cycle, stolen farming equipment and other items suspected to be the proceeds of crime.
All items were seized for further analysis.
Investigations are continuing, and further arrests are expected.
